Biddulph Kindergarten

Biddulph Kindergarten opened in January 2024 and provides high-quality childcare and early years education for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years. In addition to our nursery provision, we offer a Before and After School Club for children attending Kingsfield First School, along with a holiday club for children aged 3–11 years from across the Biddulph area.

Our nursery features four spacious, well-equipped classrooms designed to support every stage of a child’s development, including a dedicated room and outdoor area for babies. Children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and discovery in an environment that promotes confidence, creativity, and independence.

Outdoor learning is an important part of daily life at Biddulph Kindergarten. Every child enjoys regular access to our extensive outdoor spaces, where they can take part in physical activities, explore nature, develop their senses, and experience the changing seasons firsthand. These experiences help children build a strong connection with the world around them while supporting their overall development.

Located within the Family Hub, we are able to work closely with local services and provide families with access to additional support and guidance whenever it may be needed. This partnership helps ensure that children and families can access appropriate services quickly and effectively.

Our kindergarten also maintains links with primary schools throughout the Biddulph and Congleton areas, helping to ensure a smooth transition into school life.

Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared on-site each day by our Catering Manager. We also offer convenient on-site parking and funded places for eligible children from the term after children turn 9 months up to 5 years old.

Funded Entitlement Hours

Babies - We do not offer term time only spaces for babies until the term after they turn 2 years old.
Parents can opt to use the funding on a term time basis 30hrs and choose to pay in the school holidays, or they can use the stretch funding 22.8 hrs over a minimum of two days per week according to their own personal preference.
All children can attend term time only the term after they turn 2 years of age.
15/30 hours term time only or stretched funding (11.4/22.8hrs) according to parent preference.

Additional Hours

Parents can opt to attend for any number of sessions they choose over and above the funded hours on the following basis as advertised on our costs

Fruit and Milk Snack served at 2pm FREE for all children

We do not charge any consumable fee
