Community Links
We pride ourselves in playing an active and positive role in the communities in which we operate. We actively seek opportunities for our children to engage with members of the community and to undertake activities and outings in the local area.
Each term our children visit a local residential care home to promote the positive interaction between the youngest and eldest members of our community and to encourage intergenerational learning. We find that both the children and care home residents find these visits incredibly rewarding as they participate together in fun and engaging seasonal activities including singing Christmas carols, making Easter bonnets and Mothers Day cards.
Throughout the year we organise outings to local places of worship to provide learning experiences for the children, this includes visiting the cenotaph in each of our communities to recognise Remembrance Day.
We support local and national charities with fun fundraising activities including for example Children in Need and Sports Relief.
Supporting Local Suppliers
We passionately believe in support local suppliers where we can, this includes working with local tradespeople, builder’s merchants, uniform suppliers, toys and educational equipment, ICT and furniture.
