Burslem Kindergarten

Burslem Kindergarten opened in January 2020 and provides high-quality childcare and early years education in a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We welcome children aged from 8 weeks to 5 years, supporting their learning and development at every stage.

The nursery is thoughtfully designed with dedicated rooms tailored to different age groups, ensuring children receive age-appropriate care and opportunities to thrive. In addition to our well-equipped learning spaces, children have access to two outdoor play areas and a sensory room, providing a variety of experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and confidence.

Outdoor play forms an important part of everyday life at Burslem Kindergarten. Children enjoy daily opportunities to be active, develop physical skills, explore the natural environment, and engage in imaginative play. These experiences support their wellbeing while helping them learn through discovery and hands-on experiences.

Conveniently located within Stoke-on-Trent, the nursery is well placed for families travelling across the city and benefits from off-street parking for ease of access. We also maintain relationships with local primary schools, helping children make a smooth and positive transition into their next stage of education.

All meals are freshly prepared on-site each day by our Catering Manager, ensuring children enjoy nutritious and balanced food throughout their time with us. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a safe, caring, and inspiring environment where every child can grow, learn, and flourish.

Funded places are available for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old until they reach 5 years of age.

Funded Entitlement Hours

Babies - We do not offer term time only spaces for babies until the term after they turn 2 years old.
Parents can opt to use the funding on a term time basis 30hrs and choose to pay in the school holidays, or they can use the stretch funding 22.8 hrs over a minimum of two days per week according to their own personal preference.
All children can attend term time only the term after they turn 2 years of age.
15/30 hours term time only or stretched funding (11.4/22.8hrs) according to parent preference.
