Cheadle Kindergarten

Cheadle Kindergarten is a welcoming private nursery located within the grounds of Cheadle Primary School, providing high-quality childcare and early years education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The kindergarten offers care for children aged from 8 weeks to 5 years, alongside before and after school club provision for pupils attending Cheadle Primary School.

Being situated on the school site provides children with unique opportunities to benefit from the wider school environment. Through our strong partnership with Cheadle Primary School, children have access to a range of facilities, including the sports field and forest school area, which enhance outdoor learning and encourage physical activity, exploration, and discovery. These experiences help children build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.

The close relationship between the nursery and school also allows children to take part in a variety of community events and special activities throughout the year. From seasonal celebrations and performances to wider school events, these experiences help children feel connected to their local community and support a smooth transition into school life.

We maintain good links with all primary schools across the Cheadle area, helping children move confidently into the next stage of their education. Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared on-site each day by our Catering Manager, and convenient on-site parking is available for families. We also offer convenient on-site parking and funded places for eligible children from the term after children turn 9 months up to 5 years old.

Funded Entitlement Hours

Babies - We do not offer term time only spaces for babies until the term after they turn 2 years old.
Parents can opt to use the funding on a term time basis 30hrs and choose to pay in the school holidays, or they can use the stretch funding 22.8 hrs over a minimum of two days per week according to their own personal preference.
All children can attend term time only the term after they turn 2 years of age.
15/30 hours term time only or stretched funding (11.4/22.8hrs) according to parent preference.

Additional Hours

Parents can opt to attend for any number of sessions they choose over and above the funded hours on the following basis as advertised on our costs

Breakfast is FREE for all children
Fruit and Milk Snack served at 2pm FREE for all children
Consumables
We do not charge any consumable fee
