Fenton Kindergarten
Fenton Kindergarten opened in November 2023, building on the strong foundations of a well-established nursery that had successfully served local families for over 12 years. We provide high-quality full-day childcare and early years education for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years in a caring, stimulating, and supportive environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and develop at their own pace.
We also offer Before and After School Club and holiday club provision for children attending local schools, including Christ Church CE Primary School, Glebe Primary Academy, Heron Cross Primary School, and Our Lady’s Catholic Primary Academy. The kindergarten maintains good links with primary schools across the Fenton area, helping children make a confident transition into school.
Outdoor play is an important part of daily life at Fenton Kindergarten. Children of all ages enjoy regular access to our dedicated outdoor learning space, where they can develop physical skills, build confidence, and explore the world around them through play and discovery.
As a nursery, we are proud of our strong connection to the local community. Children regularly take part in visits to nearby locations, including Fenton Park, The Lido, Temple Street Methodist Church, and The Limes Residential Home. These experiences help children learn about their community while supporting meaningful intergenerational relationships with older residents.
Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared on-site each day by our Catering Manager, ensuring children enjoy healthy, balanced food throughout their time with us. Our dedicated team is committed to providing the very best start to every child’s learning journey.
Funded places are available for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old until they reach 5 years of age.

Funded Entitlement Hours

Babies - We do not offer term time only spaces for babies until the term after they turn 2 years old.

Parents can opt to use the funding on a term time basis 30hrs and choose to pay in the school holidays, or they can use the stretch funding 22.8 hrs over a minimum of two days per week according to their own personal preference.

All children can attend term time only the term after they turn 2 years of age.
